Phil- (love/ lover) + Anthro-(human/mankind)
let's know the meaning of philanthropist - A person who seeks to promotethe welfare of others, usually by donating money to good causes. Visualize a successful person smiling warmly to open the door of a community library that he funded. This helps you to connect the word to its true meaning: a
lover of mankind.

Categorized by Themes:

As we know, brain 🧠 keeps information better when you group them logically rather
than alphabetically. So, you maintain a notebook or digital sheets and divide them into
 common exam categories:
Here, I have created a digital sheet, which is divided by me in three parts so that it will
be suitable for competitive exams.

Use the "Contextual Flashcard " Technique:

Don't write the word as well as its definition on a flashcard.

Use a Three - Column Method:

Struggling with English?
Start with easy vocabulary and simple one-word substitutions to build a solid foundation for competitive exams.
When reading a novel, or an editorial page, try to read it between the lines means
to understand the hidden meaning. After reading, you can discuss that word with
its meaning or you can ask the meaning of that word from your friends. In this way, you as well as your friends can retain that word.

Daily "Micro - Drills "

Learn 10 words daily. After learning those words, write ✍️ them in the notebook.
After a week, do not learn new words, only
revise and review the 60 words learnt during
 the week.

  • 1 week = 7 days
  • I day = 10 words
  • 6 days = 60 new words
  • 7 th day = Don't learn, do revision only.

Do it consistently, as consistency is the key to success.

After this, attempt previous year questions related to the categories you, studied that week.

Visual Mnemonics:

Mostly these substitutions often describe complex ideas, try to associate a word
with a specific image or a famous person.

with India's highest civilian award after their passing.
