Tips and Tricks to Write Job Application| Save the best tips

How to write a Job Application

Nowadays, we usually send an Email for job, but in Board Exams and in Competitive Exam (SSC descriptive / School Exam / Board Exam / Private Job)Here, I am providing you a list of phrases and positive action words (descriptive words).

  • Use them in a job application appropriately and secure better marks in Examination.

Here is a list of phrases:

  • Kindly consider my application......
  • I assure you of my sincerity..............
  • I would like to express...........
  • With reference to your advertisement........
  • I am writing to apply .............

Learn these Formal Phrases because while writing an application, we should not
write Informal Phrases so always avoid using informal language (in Hindi, we can say Bol Chal ki Bhasha)

While writing an application points to remember:

 Don't use messaging language.

  • Don't write "I am good at speaking foreign languages". (Wrong) Instead of writing this, write:
  • I possess full professional proficiency in multiple languages. (Correct)

  • Don't write "I can talk to people from other countries". (Wrong)
  • I excel at adapting my communication style to diverse cultural contexts. (Correct)

Usually, we write in an application, " I am very hard working, polite and sincere candidate. If you give me a chance, I will leave no stone unturned." (Wrong)

In the paragraph, it is written "very hard working"- Informal language.

' Write one word for "very hard working" - diligent.

Thus, we can write this paragraph in this way:
  • I am diligent, polite and sincere candidate. If given an opportunity,
  •  I will leave no stone unturned in performing my duties effectively.

Words to Describe Personal Qualities:

Here are some words to describe professional qualities:

  • Versatile
  • Competent
  • Dedicated
  • Articulate
  • Prudent
  • Adept
  • Meticulous

Use these words, while writing a job application.

For Example: I remain composed and calm even in challenging situations as I am a resilient person.

Try to Use these Positive Action Words to make your job application impressive:

Here is a list of effective action words:

  • Organize
  • Achieve
  • Maintain
  • Execute
  • Enhance
  • Coordinate
  • Assist
  • Implement

Let's use these words in a sentence:

I assure you that I will coordinate effectively with my colleagues and extend full
cooperation and support to my seniors while maintaining professional discipline.

Try to use these words in an application like this.

Format Structure (Formal Letter)

. Sender's Address:

  • Left side
  • (In three lines)

Date: (After leaving one line)

Receiver's Address:

  • (in three lines)

Subject: (After leaving one line)

Salutation: Dear Sir/Madam

Introduction (first paragraph)

Body of the letter: (second paragraph)

Closing: (last paragraph)

Complementary Closure:

Your sincerely

 Write your name

Tips to write a job application:

  • First and foremost, do not forget to write
  •  (Sender's address, Receiver's address and date)
  • While writing a letter don't use short forms like:
  • don't, isn't, won't etc.....
  • Write at least 160 to 180 words in writing a Job Application.
