Let's learn how to write a notice

If want to be English Guru ( the easiest method ) , learn at least 5 new words daily and use them in your daily life . You can talk to your friends , relatives and family members ( use those words ) thus in this way , you will boost your confidence and gradually you are capable to write short stories or whatever you want to write .  In this video I have explained everything in detail in Hindi also that will be fruitful for the students .

Secondly , I have explained elaborately how to write down a notice that is exclusively for class X and XII students , because the usually write the notice , but they don't follow the rules and regulations ( sixty percent students) ,  sometimes they don't write it in rectangular box . They don't put signature before the name of issuing authority  , there are many issues   ( which I personally have experienced  ) keeping those issues in mind , I have explained everything in detail in Hindi also in this video . Being a teacher , I realised that most of the students try to concentrate on what is being taught  in the class, but sometimes it happens , they are unable to understand as their fundamentals are not clear and they face so many problems, consequently they don't want to talk about this , they feel frustrated , they start blaming others. It is observed , at this juncture the teacher as well as parents should tackle such type of problem patiently . As English is not our mother tongue , and the students are not comfortable , Last year , one of my students said to me , " Mam , Aap jo padhati ho hamko samajh nahi aata , aap english mai kya bolti hai , please Hindi mai bata do ". Then I realised his problem.  It is the responsibility of the teacher to understand the problems of the students ( at this juncture , the teacher have to be friendly )  only just because of English , they are unable to score good marks , though they know the subject , thus they loose confidence .

So , the teacher has to be bilingual in the class ( she has to explain in both English and in Hindi .As Hindi is our mother tongue but English plays an important role in our lives : 

                                1 It boosts our confidence .

                                 2 It provides multiple career prospects .

                                 3 It is a part of the global community .

                                 4 It is the language of internet .

     So , learning English can make you master . As someone has rightly said , " No matter what career path we decide to pursue , learning English is a valuable skill . "

I encourage the students to learn new words with their meanings  ( at least 5 new words ) daily , after then try to use them in their daily life . 

 Keeping this in mind , I am inserting a video , in which I have explained in Hindi also . Hope this video will be helpful to dispel the fear of English and they feel comfortable after watching it .

How do we meet and greet people meeting for the first time

In this blog , we learn how to speak in English when we meet for the first time , as English is not our mother tongue so we feel uncomfortable 😣. Today , we come to know that there are some words and sentences which we often use when we meet for the first time .

Now , let's  observe how two people converse in English with each other . Here are two characters Rita and Rajan - Both of speak in English , when they meet for the first time .At first Rita introduces herself  after then Rajan reciprocates .

Let's us what they are talking :

Rita : Hi , I 'm Rita ; I think we are meeting for the first time.

Rajan :  Hello Rita , I ' m Rajan . Pleased to meet you.

Rita. :  How are you ? 

Rajan : I am fine .

Rajan :  By the way , Where are you from ?

Rita : I was born in Nepal after then my parents came to India and I did my schooling as well as graduation from India (Delhi ) .

Rita : Where are you put up in Delhi ?

Rajan : I live in Tilak Nagar.

Rita : What would you like to do in your free time ?

Rajan : Yeah , I play tennis and love to travel too.

Rita : well , I will go now ; Good Bye.

Rajan : See you tomorrow .

There are few things that  we use like Good Morning , we talk about our parents , brothers and sisters , our hobbies etc....

Words have magical power Role of Words in Commumication

 " Words are the most powerful thing in the universe....Words are containers. They contain faith, or fear, and they produce after their kind."                                                                                             In English 26 letters are there, and their sub-parts are Vowels ,    Semi- Vowels and Consonant.                                                                                                                  With the help of these three(sub-parts), we make words .They(words) contain letters ,not only this they(words) give us the ability to communicate thoughts, ideas ,and  feelings with others as quickly as possible. Now the question is how can we learn new words, for that we have to increase our vocabulary.    Vocabulary is all about words-the words in a language or a special set of words we are trying to learn.   It carries an enormous  weight , not only in practical life , but also in business. In this way words play an important role. We find words in parts of speech , phrases , clauses and sentences. We all have bad habits that we stick to basic English vocabulary as it is easy . We should expand our vocabulary. We can form abstract nouns from adjectives: brave - bravery , here the word brave is an adjective and its synonyms are valiant, bold , gallant while the word bravery is a noun and its synonyms are courage , daring , valor . In the same manner ,abstract nouns can be formed from verbs: know-knowledge ;here the word know is a verb as it is used without object ,while knowledge is the abstract noun. An abstract noun is used to refer to concepts , ideas , experiences , traits , feelings that cannot be seen , heard , tasted , smelt or touched. From common nouns also we can form abstract nouns : slave - slavery                       

 We come to know how abstract nouns are formed with the help of some common suffixes. In certain cases when a suffix is added to a word , we may have to alter the spellings slightly.

we can form many words and use them effectively. They can be in the form of verbal or text , as Edward Thorndike has rightly said colors fade , temples crumble , empires fall , but wise words endure'.
